Customer Questions & Answers
What is the cost and lead time for customizing an embossing roller with our company logo?
The cost of a custom embossing roller depends on pattern complexity, engraving area, and roller size. Lead time is typically 4-6 weeks after receiving the final confirmed vector file (AI/EPS format) or clear sample. Specific costs and delivery dates are assessed and quoted based on your design requirements.
Is it convenient to change different embossing patterns? Do we need to replace the entire embossing roller?
Patterns are directly engraved onto the embossing roller surface. To change patterns, the corresponding embossing roller needs to be replaced. Our machine features quick-installation bearing housing design, making roller replacement relatively convenient, though it's not an online quick-switch operation. We recommend dedicating embossing rollers for commonly used patterns.
Does the embossing process affect the tensile strength of the strapping?
A properly executed embossing process will not significantly negatively impact the overall tensile strength. Embossing primarily creates surface structures with minimal effect on material integrity. Our embossing unit supports precise pressure and depth adjustment, allowing you to optimize the process for clear pattern presentation without excessive material damage.
